Watt Loaned to Saints

Right-back Ben Watt has joined Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club St Ives Town on a month`s loan from League One side Oxford United.

The 18-year-old enjoyed a similar stint at the Saints` league rivals Stratford Town earlier in the season.

Watt is a typical modern-day full-back who signed for the U`s from Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur.

He has also represented England as an under-15 and joined Oxford after impressing in a fixture against AFC Bournemouth.

Watt is yet to make a senior appearance for the U`s but was an unused substitute in cup games at Burton Albion and Cambridge United earlier this season.

He also travelled with the squad for April’s defeat at Sunderland in League One.
