Bartlett Switches to League Rivals and Neighbours

Wimborne Town manager James Stokoe has boosted his squad ahead of the busy festive period by signing Dan Bartlett from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South rivals and neighbours Poole Town.

The 21-year-old, who can play a number of positions but is best known as a dynamic midfielder, had joined the Dolphins in August after he impressed in pre-season training and in friendly games.

He was at Premier League Southampton until he was 18 and then signed a two-year deal at Championship outfit Coventry City.

He was released by the Sky Blues last summer following significant injury problems during his stay there.
