Keeper Switches to League Rivals

Wimborne Town have signed goalkeeper Tommy Scott from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South neighbours Poole Town.

The 22-year-old joined the Dolphins in November 2021 from Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier side Hamworthy United.

He had only been with the Hammers for a month or so having been released by Premier League Southampton.

He had joined the Saints in August 2019 from Vanarama National League outfit Yeovil Town and during his time as a scholar at Huish Park, he gained valuable experience around the first-team squad and appeared on the bench on 6 separate occasions, including the final day of the 2018/19 League Two campaign against Carlisle United.

Whilst with the Saints, he mainly turned out for the club`s under-21 side and he made his Magpies debut in their last-gasp 4-3 defeat on Tuesday night against Truro City.
