Bideford Bring in Two

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Bideford AFC have made a couple of new signings.

They have taken young midfielder Alex Moyse on loan from Vanarama National League side Torquay United after joining from League Two Exeter City in July 2020.

The 19-year-old defensive midfielder signed his first professional contract at Plainmoor in the summer.

He had a loan spell with Southern Premier Division Central side Tiverton Town earlier this season.

Bideford have also re-signed striker Theo Simpson from Tiverton.

The 21-year-old joined Tivvy in June 2021 after being released by Exeter.

He played for Exeter in the EFL under-18s Alliance League and put in some impressive performances for the under-23s in the Merit League and the under-23s Premier League Cup.

Hailing from St Ives in Cornwall, he also spent time on loan at Barnstaple Town, Willand Rovers and also Bideford over the last few seasons.
