Mark West`s visitors came into the game on a decent run of one defeat in their previous twelve league games whilst, in contrast, the hosts had only won one of their last five matches and had dropped down to 12th in the table after looking like being play-off contenders at one time.
The Red Kites took a 14th-minute lead when Ryan Blake fired home from the edge of the area.
They took that lead into half-time, but within 9 minutes of the restart, the visitors doubled their advantage when Lynton Goss pounced on a rebound after Blake`s initial effort had come back off a post.
In the 70th minute, it was game over when Goss netted his second with a powerful effort into the top corner of the net.
And the comfortable win was completed 8 minutes later when young defender George Gilmore scored following a corner – his first senior goal.
The win lifts Thame to within four points of fifth-placed Ware with a game in hand.
