New Barum Boss Goes for the Familiar!

Craig Laird, the new manager of Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Barnstaple Town, has made several signings since taking the reins and has now brought in his own son Callum.

Callum Laird joins Barum from Toolstation Western League Division One side Cheddar, where he was captain.

The 28-year-old defender had been with Cheddar since 2019 after signing from Somerset County League outfit Middlezoy Rovers.

He started out with his father at Weston-super-Mare, where he made almost 50 appearances.

He went on to play for Weymouth, Yate Town, Bridgwater Town, Dorchester Town and Bideford AFC before joining Middlezoy.
