Coalville Take Highly-Rated Keeper on Loan

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central promotion challengers Coalville Town have taken highly-rated young goalkeeper Tiernan Brooks on loan from Vanarama National League side Notts County.

The 18-year-old was County`s only second-year scholar to be offered a professional contract at the end of the 2019/20 campaign and was selected to be part of the first-team training squad for the delayed play-off campaign.

The young keeper, who has represented Republic of Ireland at junior levels and has spent time on loan with Northern Premier League Division One East sides Lincoln United and, at the beginning of this campaign, Worksop Town.

He cut his teeth with home-town club Sheffield Wednesday before joining County as a first-year scholar.
