Jones Joins The Foresters

Versatile player Dylan Jones has signed for Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Cinderford Town from Southern Premier Division South side Merthyr Town.

The 20-year-old Welshman joined the Martyrs in early October 2021 from league rivals Salisbury, where he had been since July 2021.

Capable of playing multiple positions, he is a strong runner with and without the ball, and previously featured for Vanarama National League North side Hereford FC.

Having joined Hereford on a non-contract basis in November 2020, he went out on dual registration with Midland League Premier Division outfit Worcester City.

He previously enjoyed brief stints with Cardiff City under-23s, Swansea City and Newport County.
