Swindon Pair Head to Highworth

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Highworth Town have signed two young players on `work experience` from League Two neighbours Swindon Town.

Defenders Levi Francis and Callum Winchcombe have both made the temporary switch to the Save on Tyres Stadium.

Francis, 18, came through the youth ranks with Swindon, making his first-team debut during an EFL Trophy second round tie in November 2021 against Colchester United in a 2–1 defeat which saw the Robins exit the competition.

He has skippered the club`s under-18 side.

Winchcombe is a centre back, also 18, who joined Swindon from the Procision Football Academy in 2015.

He made his first-team debut in November 2021, also during an EFL Trophy group-stage tie against Newport County, playing the full 90 minutes in the 1–0 victory.
