Welwyn Garden City Receive PST Sports Award

Ahead of the 2-2 draw with FC Romania on Tuesday night, Welwyn Garden City received their rewards for being named as PST Sport`s club of the month for January in the Pitching In Southern League Division One Central.

Nick Ironton`s side are currently fourth in the table and averaged 2.6 points per game in January.

Indeed, the only time they dropped points was on the 29th of the month when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Capershotts by Waltham Abbey.

And in winning the five other matches in the month, the Citizens bagged 19 goals!

The award was presented to Welwyn Garden City`s Vice-Chairman David Coates by League Chairman Terry Barratt.
