Two Added to Kidlington Group

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Kidlington have added two players to their squad.

Joining after spells with Toolstation Western League sides Devizes Town and Chipping Sodbury Town is experienced defender Sam Ockwell.

The 30-year-old has previously been with Royal Wootton Bassett Town, where he was managers` and players` player of the year for 2020/21 after re-joining from Corsham Town.

He had also claimed both the managers` player of the year award in his first spell with the club in 2013/14.

Ockwell has also worn the colours of Fairford Town, Malmesbury Victoria, Shortwood United and Shrivenham.

Also joining Kidlington is central midfielder Ollie Lynch from league rivals Thame United, where he featured mainly in their reserve side.

In his second spell with the Red Kites, the 29-year-old originally joined from Aylesbury FC in 2014 and made over 50 first team appearances before having spells with Winslow United and Risborough Rangers.
