And several clubs in the Pitching In Southern Football League have already held their award ceremonies.

And they include a now managerless Premier Division South Yate Town, whose outgoing manager Paul Michael, who has now left the Bluebells to take over at Merthyr Town, chose Sam Turl as his managers` player of the year.

The 26-year-old defender made 38 league appearances for the club in 2021/22.

Midfielder Will Tunnicliff, 22, was voted as the supporters` player of the year after appearing in all 42 league games, contributing 2 goals.

Fellow midfielders, Jamie Adams and Sam Kamara, were jointly awarded players` player of the year by their team-mates.

Premier Division Central club Rushall Olympic’s season isn’t over yet as they are involved in the play-offs but have already announced their awards.

Winning the supporters' vote is Richard Batchelor.

The vastly experienced 34-year-old has been a vital cog on a Pics side that finished fourth in the table.

Liam McDonald’s managers` player of the season went to midfielder Alex Moore, who appeared 36 times in the league and scored a vital 7 goals.

The players’ player of the season went to 32-year-old midfielder Tom Thorley, who played 39 games in the league and netted a couple of times.

He enjoyed an outstanding campaign, playing al-bar four of the 42 league games.

Another Premier Division Central club, Tamworth, who had a great second half of the season after Andy Peaks` arrival, saw Henri Wilder achieve the `double` of both supporters` and managers’ player of the year awards.

The 22-year-old played in every league game for the Lambs.

The players` player of the season was highly rated goalkeeper Jas Singh, the 32-year-old also playing in every league match.

The fans at another Division One South club, Larkhall Athletic, voted long-serving defender Josh Jones as their player of the year.

The 26-year-old, who joined the Larks in 2017, played 32 times in 2021/22 and netted a couple of goals.
