The game played at the PMC Stadium, home of Moneys` league rivals Baffins Milton Rovers, saw Boro take a 23rd-minute lead when Dan Wooden finished off a neat move.
And just 2 minutes later, Ashton Leigh was the architect for Wooden to make it 2-0.
Gosport’s Matt Paterson hit the woodwork just before Moneyfields had Callum Glen dismissed for something he said after Boro were awarded a penalty.
And although the spot-kick was rescinded after consultation with an assistant, the red card stood.
Ten minutes into the second half, Gosport were awarded another penalty for handball, and this one stood, with Ashton Leigh duly converting to make it 3-0.
Moneyfields reduced the deficit on 63 minutes when they were awarded a spot-kick for a foul on Steve Hutchings which he scored from to give the ten-men hope.
However, numbers on the field were evened up on 70 minutes when Billie Busari was sent-off with a straight red card.
But Gosport made it game over when Luke Hallett headed home from a corner to make it 4-1.
