Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South new boys Bracknell Town have added two players to their promotion-winning squad.

Dan Carr

Dan Carr

The 22-year-old had signed for Hanwell at the start of the 2020/21 season from Bracknell for whom he scored 12 goals in his final season there.

He was a scholar with League One side Oxford United where he spent four seasons.

An exceptionally quick full-back who is not slow to join in attacking moves.

Manager Bobby Wilkinson said “I’m delighted to bring Dan back to the club. He was outstanding for Hanwell last season and I’m looking forward to working with him again.”

Also re-uniting with Wilkinson is striker Conor Lynch, who joins Bracknell from Isthmian South Central outfit Basingstoke Town.

The 24-year-old had joined `Stoke in July 2021 from Isthmian South Central rivals Thatcham Town.

He was already familiar to ‘Stoke fans who remembered him from his solitary game in 2019/20 during the first expunged season where he scored on his debut in a 1-1 all draw with Willand Rovers whilst on loan from Vanarama National League South side Hungerford Town, where he worked with Wilkinson.

He is a bustling forward who loves getting in behind defenders and has a good scoring record.

He has also had loan spells with Fairford Town and at Thatcham where he made a more permanent move in 2020.

Wilkinson said: “I’ve worked with Conor at Hungerford for many years. He’s just had an unbelievable season and I’m over the moon to be working with him again”.
