Keeper Becomes Tenth New Magpie of the Close Season

Wimborne Town have announced their tenth new signing of the close season to date in goalkeeper Ben Rodwell, who re-joins from new Pitching In Southern League Division One South rivals Bashley.

Rodwell came through the ranks at Wimborne as a youngster.

He went on to gain experience in men’s football with Andover Town, Verwood Town, and Bashley, as well as being attached with Vanarama National League South side Weymouth.

Wimborne manager James Stokoe told his club’s website: “Ben has come on board for the season as cover to Tom Parker-Trott. He spent time at the club as a youngster and he was happy to come back and progress his footballing career with us this season”.
