Big Striker Returns to Stratford

Gavin Hurran, manager of Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Stratford Town, has brought big striker Curvin Ellis back to the Arden Garages Stadium.

The 6`5” forward joins the Bards from Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Sutton Coldfield Town.

He had joined the Royals in January 2022 from league rivals Chasetown where he had been since August 2021 after arriving from West Midlands (Regional) League side OJM Black Country.

A well-travelled player who has also taken in spells with Coventry United, Boldmere St Michaels, Highgate United, Redditch United, Coleshill Town, Coventry Sphinx, Solihull Moors, Gresley Rovers and Racing Club Warwick as well as Stratford.

Hurran told his club’s website: "It's great to get Curvin over the line. He's a big 6`5” forward who will bring something different to the team. He has been playing for Sutton Coldfield last season and has earned his chance to play higher. We are happy to have him join up with the squad ready for pre-season. He has a big strong physical presence who has a great attitude. We're looking forward to working with him and seeing him take his opportunity".
