The 29-year-old had joined the Terras from league rivals Havant & Waterlooville.
He was studying for a physiotherapy degree at Winchester University at the time, so wasn`t able to commit to the new training system at Havant.
He joined the famed Southampton academy at the age of 8 and made one first-team appearance in a Carling Cup tie but was then loaned out to Bolton Wanderers at the end of the 2013/14 season.
He moved on to join Dorchester Town and Gosport before signing for the Hawks in 2016.
Gosport boss Shaun Gale worked with Robinson at Havant and told his club’s website: “He is another great lad and a great signing who ticks all of the boxes for me.
“A fantastic professional who will add even more experience to the other players already signed.
“We are shaping up well and we can’t wait to get going”.
