The 33-year-old had re-joined Vanarama National League side Yeovil Town in January 2021.
Signing for his second stint in Green & White, he was part of the 2012/13 League One play-off winning squad, netting 6 times in all competitions that season before a loan spell to Plymouth Argyle.
After starting out at Plymouth, he had spells with Rotherham United, West Bromwich Albion and Oldham Athletic before spending the majority of the rest of his career in the South West.
The forward has enjoyed stints back at Plymouth, Forest Green Rovers, Torquay United, Exeter City and Cheltenham Town.
Manager Scott Bartlett told his club’s website: “Reuben is a fantastic player and has been a proven striker throughout his career in the football league. This is a real coup for us.
“He is a personality, a very good character, he’s a winner and will add so much experience and quality to an already great changing room.
“It’s a real compliment to our club because he had some fantastic offers to stay full time or go into a hybrid system that some clubs are adopting now but he committed to us and we are looking forward to working with him”.
