Ducks Triallists Earn Deals

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Aylesbury United have signed three players who have all been impressing in pre-season friendlies.

Patrick Ziddane Gourgel-Sequeira started out in the Sporting Lisbon academy and is a striker who possesses excellent technique.

Portuguese-born Gourgel-Sequeira, described as a 'rapid striker', originally signed for the Ducks in October 2020 from Southern Premier Division Central side Hitchin Town, who the 24-year-old joined at the start of the 2020/21 season.

Winger Nasha Mukwada joins from Southern Premier Division Central side AFC Rushden & Diamonds where he featured mainly for their under-23 squad, making 14 appearances and scoring 5 goals last season.

He has previous experience with Spartan South Midlands League side Amersham Town and Herts Senior County Leaguers Sun Sports Watford.

He got off the mark for the Ducks, scoring the equaliser in the friendly against Wycombe Wanderers last Friday evening.

Another winger, Tom McElroy, has also signed forms for the Ducks after impressing in pre-season.

He has recently completed a Masters` degree in investment and finance at the University of Nottingham and has played for Northern Premier League Division One Midlands outfit Shepshed Dynamo, as well as the University of Leicester as well as for Spartan South Midlands League sides Buckingham Athletic and neighbours Aylesbury Vale Dynamos.
