Three New Hawks

Danny Chapman, manager of Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Harlow Town, has added three new players to his squad.

Having recently revealed nine re-signings from last season’s squad, Chapman has brought in defender Alex Luque, midfielder Dante McIntosh and striker Aleko Aliaj.

Luque joins the Hawks from Essex Olympian League side Bishop’s Stortford Swifts.

The local resident is the son of former Hawk Miguel Luque, who featured for the club in the 1980s and was previously with Takeley and Soham Town Rangers.

McIntosh is a defensive midfielder who arrives at the Harlow Arena from Thurlow Nunn League Division One South side Hackney Wick.

He was previously on the books at Enfield Town.

Aliaj is an 18-year-old striker who joins from Southern Premier Division South side Hayes & Yeading United.

A former youngster with Greek giants Panathinaikos, he made a goalscoring debut for United in November 2021 when he scored a brace in a Southern League Cup tie at Waltham Abbey, thus becoming the club’s youngest ever first team goalscorer.
