Wilson Earns Coalville Deal

After a successful trial period, Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Coalville Town have confirmed that George Wilson has put pen-to-paper for the coming season.

The 21-year-old has featured in every pre-season game so far for the Ravens, mainly operating at right back.

He has impressed everyone with his all-action displays and was a standout performer in Tuesday night’s 3-0 win over Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Corby Town.

After coming through Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers` academy, he joined Loughborough University in 2019 and went on to captain the students` side in the United Counties League Premier Division North.

Most recently he has been playing in Sweden for third-tier side Ljungskile SK.
