Frederick Decides on AFC Dunstable

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club AFC Dunstable have snapped up midfielder Jordan Frederick just a month or so after it had been announced that he had signed for Southern Premier Division South side Hendon.

The 29-year-old had moved to the Greens in June from the OD’s league rivals Berkhamsted.

He had joined Berko in November 2021 from Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Leighton Town, where he was captain.

He had been an excellent servant Leighton both on and off the field over the past few seasons but the opportunity to join a Step 4 club was too good to turn down.

He has been with Berko before, being at Broadwater from 2011 to 2015 initially after spells with Hemel Hempstead Town and Leverstock Green.

After his first spell with Berkhamsted, he went on to have two stints with Aylesbury United, totalling over 60 games, before having a second spell with Berko in 2015/16 via AFC Dunstable.

Egham Town and Aylesbury FC (now Aylesbury Vale Dynamos) preceded his move to Bell Close in 2018.
