Hercules Boost for AFC Dunstable

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club AFC Dunstable have snapped up exciting winger Max Hercules ahead of the new campaign.

The 22-year-old moves to Creasey Park after a short spell with Banbury United, making 5 appearances after joining in February from the OD’s league rivals Aylesbury United and helping the Puritans to win the Premier Division Central title.

Hercules originally signed for the Ducks from Tring Athletic in June 2018 after making 60 appearances for the Spartan South Midlands League outfit in two years after breaking into their first team.

He left for then-Southern Premier Division South outfit Kings Langley in June 2019 and then switched to Southern Division One Central side Berkhamsted in November 2019.

The son of all-time Aylesbury United record appearance holder and goalscorer Cliff Hercules, he returned `home` to Aylesbury in early January 2020.
