Loan Trio for Truro

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Truro City have announced the signings of defender Oliver Haste and midfielder Toby Stephens on three-month’s loan from Vanarama National League side Yeovil Town.

Haste signed his first professional contract for Yeovil in May - the same month he made his National League debut.

He has also represented England at college level and got his first taste of men’s football while on dual registration terms with then-Southern Division One South side Barnstaple Town last season.

Eighteen-year-old Stephens is a product of the Glovers` academy and signed his first professional deal at the start of the 2020/21 season.

Loan spells at National League South outfit Hemel Hempstead Town and at Barnstaple followed last season.

Meanwhile, joining on `work experience` is midfielder Ferdinand Okoh from Premier League AFC Bournemouth.

The 18-year-old had a brief spell with the White Tigers last season as he played the second half against Hayes & Yeading United in London.

The midfielder came through the academies at West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur before joining Bournemouth in 2020.
