Trio Bolster Melksham Numbers

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Melksham Town have added a trio of new signings to their squad.

Busy and versatile midfielder Jack Camm moves to the Oakfield Stadium from league rivals Larkhall Athletic.

The 29-year-old had returned to the Larks in 2018 from Yate Town.

He previously played for the Larks in 2015/16 before moving to Cinderford Town and was previously with Weston-super-Mare and Bristol Rovers.

Experienced goalkeeper Conor Thompson joins from another league rival, Highworth Town.

The 27-year-old had joined the Worthians in 2020 from Vanarama National League South side Chippenham Town.

He has previously been with Torquay United, Newport County, Gloucester City and Bath City.

Versatile Jack Witcombe arrives from rivals Frome Town, where he had been since August 2020.

The 26-year-old joined Frome from then-Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Bradford Town.

He can operate at right wing as well as right-back and swapped Trowbridge Road for Badgers Hill after two seasons in Bradford-on-Avon.

The Frome native won the players' player of the year award in his first season with The Bobcats, following a move from Radstock Town in 2018 and was rated as one of the best full-backs in the league.

He also was part of Bradford's table-topping team who were heading towards promotion prior to the curtailment of the 2019/20 season.
