The 18-year-old joins the Swans following his release from League One side Cheltenham Town earlier in the summer.
He was a regular in the Robins` under-18s while still a part of the under-15 and under-16 squads.
He spent time on loan in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division last season, making 11 appearances.
Slimbridge have immediately sent Skurek out on loan to another Hellenic League Premier Division outfit, Thornbury Town, on a short-term loan to gain match fitness.
