The 22-year-old, who can play in a variety of positions, joined the Peacocks in May from Weston’s Yate Town.
He initially joined then-Southern Division One South side Cirencester Town on loan from National League South side Gloucester City at the end of the 2017/18 season.
He had been with Gloucester since he was 15 after youth spells at Cheltenham Town and Birmingham City.
Whilst with the Tigers he had dual spells with Bishops Cleeve and Evesham United and signed a permanent deal with Cirencester in June 2019 before switching to Yate in July 2020.
Manager Scott Bartlett told his club’s website: “Will is a strong and athletic defender that did very well last season.
“Craig Laird and I have lists of players in various positions and like Taylor Jones, he has become available at a good time for us”.
