Pair of New Young Ducks

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Aylesbury United have brought in two new players.

Herbie Townsend is an 18-year-old midfielder who played for both London Colney and Hadley in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division last season.

He was also part of the Ducks` league rivals Hertford Town’s squad last season.

He started his career in the academy system at League One side Cambridge United.

He follows highly rated forward Connor Duggan into The Meadow.

Duggan, also 18, was on the books at Oxford United as a youngster, and then joined Vanarama National League North side Kettering Town’s academy.

He joins the Ducks after playing for Indiana-based South Bend Lions in the USL League Two in the USA.
