Pair of New Robins

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Evesham United bolstered their squad with two new additions.

Brennan Denness-Barrett

Brennan Denness-Barrett

Pacey attacker Brennan Denness-Barrett moves to the Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium after a short spell with Southern Premier Division Central neighbours Stratford Town.

The 18-year-old had only joined the Bards earlier in the summer of 2022 after being released by League One side Cheltenham Town.

He was named as a sub for Cheltenham’s first team in the Papa John's Trophy in August 2021.

He joined the under-18 set-up at the start of his scholarship in the summer of 2020 but was no stranger to the Bards, as he had a `work experience` spell at Stratford towards the end of last season.

He also spent time gaining experience with Bishops Cleeve when they were members of the Uhlsport Hellenic League.

Also joining United is defender Luca Smith.

The 21-year-old spent pre-season with Southern Premier Division Central side Redditch United.

He joins the Robins having impressed in training whilst on trial.

He has played for his university over the last couple of years.
