Interim Bosses Make First Signing

Jamie Ward and Ben Turner, in interim charge of Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Ilkeston Town, have made their first new signing.

Joining the Robins is 20-year-old forward Dempsey Arlott-John.

The brother of former Leicester City and Stratford Town winger Kiaro Edwards-John, he is a forward who signed for Northern Premier Division One Midlands side Shepshed Dynamo in December 2021.

Like his brother, he came through Leicester`s youth ranks, representing the under-18s and under-23s before being released at the end of the 2020/21 season.

He signed for Ilkeston’s league rivals Mickleover in August 2021 after a brief spell with Crystal Palace`s under-23s.
