Emirates FA Cup Tie Switched to Tuesday

The Emirates FA Cup Second Round Qualifying tie between Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Stratford Town and former rivals and reigning champions Banbury United has been switched to Tuesday, September 20th.

The Football Association have agreed to a request to move the match from Saturday from the Police and Stratford-on-Avon District Council.

In the event of a replay being required, this would need to be scheduled in week commencing September 26th.

The Board of the Pitching In Southern Football League is supportive of the request by Stratford Town and decision made by the FA relating to the postponement of this fixture”.
