Stourbridge Bring Burton Back on Loan

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Stourbridge have brought defender Demico Burton back to the War Memorial Athletic Ground on a month’s loan from League One side Derby County.

The 18-year-old joined Derby’s under-21s squad in the summer of 2022.

The strong, athletic defender linked up with the Rams after having a trial spell in the 2021/22 season.

Burton is a left-back and caught the eye whilst playing at Stourbridge.

His performances for the Glassboys saw him called up to the England Schoolboys under-18 squad and also had trial spells at Premier League Aston Villa and Championship Birmingham City before joining the Rams.
