Romanski Returns to Melksham

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Melksham Town have re-signed defender Joe Romanski.

Romanski joined League Two side Swindon Town the age of 15, signing a two-year scholarship with the club at 16, before signing professional terms ahead of the 2018/19 season.

He became the first player born in the new Millennium to play for the first team at the end of the 2017/18 season, making his debut against Grimsby Town.

He started the following campaign alongside the first team and scored his first goal three games in - the winner in the 3-2 success over Tranmere Rovers at the County Ground.

Romanski spent the second half of the season on-loan at Vanarama National League South side Bath City, playing 8 games for the Romans.

He then joined Melksham on loan in 2019/20 and played 23 games, scoring 5 goals.

Following his release by Swindon at the end of the 2019/20 season, Romanski, whose father is from Poland, joined Polish side Zagbie Lubin, initially linking up with their B team in the fourth tier.
