Striker Makes Tiverton Switch

Tiverton Town have snapped up striker Ollie Mehew from Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South rivals Yate Town.

The 25-year-old originally joined the Bluebells in the summer of 2018 and scored 70 goals in 170 appearances, including 5 in 13 matches this term.

He moved to Yate after being released by Forest Green Rovers at the end of the 2017/18 season.

He was a scholar at Blackburn Rovers before joining Bristol Rovers and appeared on loan for a variety of non-League clubs, including Mangotsfield United, Cirencester Town, Bideford AFC, Salisbury, Evesham United, Taunton Town and Dorchester Town.

The son of former pro David, he moved to Southern Division One South side Bristol Manor Farm in late November 2019, but then returned to Yate in the summer of 2020.
