Wylie Loaned to Boro

Making his debut in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South for Gosport Brough on Saturday in their 2-2 draw with Dorchester Town was midfielder Reece Wylie.

A naturally gifted player, the 20-year-old box-to-box midfielder was with Vanarama National League side Aldershot Town, where he had been since his early academy days.

He spent time with Gosport’s league rivals Hartley Wintney on dual registration in 2019 while with the Shots academy, during which he made his first team debut.

Wylie, who has represented England at under-17 level, was trialling with Nottingham Forest's under-23s during August 2021 and featured in the Premier League 2 Division 2 fixtures against Southampton under-23s and Wolverhampton Wanderers` under-23s.

In March 2022, he was snapped up by National League South side Hungerford Town, from whom he joins Boro on an initial month's loan.
