Dan Cann will be the new player-manager with Steve Devlin as his assistant, while Sean Leadbetter will continue his role as coach.
Cann, 36, is a vastly experienced striker who returned to Hamworthy in August.
He had re-joined the Hammers` rivals Wimborne in October 2021.
He spent a couple of seasons with the Magpies before joining then-Wessex League Premier Division Hamworthy in 2019.
It was at Poole Town where he really came to the fore and the big forward went on to have spells with Dorchester Town, Hungerford Town, Winchester City and Blackfield & Langley before originally joining Wimborne in 2016.
Devlin, 37, is a vastly experienced midfielder who returned to Hamworthy in January 2022 after a brief return to Southern Premier Division South side Poole Town in November 2021.
He first signed for the Dolphins in January 2012 from Dorchester Town for an undisclosed four-figure fee and went on to make 310 appearances, scoring an impressive 95 times, establishing himself as one of the club`s all-time favourites.
He started out with Holt United in the Dorset Premier League before joining Dorchester in October 2009.
In October 2019, he left Poole to return to Dorchester as player/assistant coach alongside his former Dolphins` team-mate Callum Brooks.
He returned having recovered from a long-term cruciate ligament injury and then joined Hamworthy for the first time during 2020/21.
Leadbetter, 37, is a former Ringwood Town and Bournemouth Poppies midfielder who twice suffered double leg fractures during his playing days before he took up coaching.
