Rendell and his team have worked tirelessly over the last five years and leave with Paulton sitting sixth and in a play-off spot in Division One South.
Rendell started his career as a professional at Cardiff City, during his playing days he went on to play for Paulton where he was involved in the 2004 promotion season into the Southern League.
He then gained promotion in similar fashion with Bitton AFC and has also had spells with Cinderford Town, Mangotsfield and Yate.
He re-joined the club as manager in June 2017.
The club have thanked Rendell and his assistant for all their hard work and wishes them well in their future endeavours.
