Tuesday's Premier Division South Round-up

Bracknell Town warmed up for their big Emirates FA Cup First Round tie against Ipswich Town next Monday when they beat Winchester City 3-2 in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South on Tuesday night.

The Robins got off to a great start at the Charters Community Stadium when Kamaron English gave them an early 2nd minute lead.

Warren Bentley equalised 7 minutes later, only for English to scored his second just a couple of minutes after that.

Liam Ferdinand made it 3-1 to the visitors with only 17 minutes gone on the clock, but City held them to that advantage at the break.

The only goal of the second period came in the 6th minute of stoppage time when Max Smith reduced the deficit to one.

Bracknell moved up to eleventh in the table, with Winchester 13th.

Metropolitan Police moved into the top five after they beat fourth-from-bottom Hartley Wintney 3-1 at Imber Court.

Jasper Mather gave the hosts a 7th minute lead that Herson Rodrigues-Alves doubled 10 minutes later.

Josh Keeya made it 3-1 in the 43rd minute, only for Zidan Akers to pull one back seconds later.

The Row weren’t able to dent the Met’s lead in the second half, which meant that Gavin Macpherson’s men moved into fifth spot.

Salisbury ended their poor run and earned a first win under new boss Brian Dutton with a 2-0 success at the Ray Mac against Hanwell Town, who dropped out of the top five as a consequence.

Sam Ashton put the Whites in front after 25 minutes, but it wasn’t until 3 minutes into time added on at the end of the game that Dutton and the Salisbury supporters could relax when Seakjae Lee made it 2-0.
