The 6’ 4” central defender was originally in the academy at Slough Town and joined then-Isthmian South Central side Staines Town in July 2021.

In early January 2022 he moved to Southern Division One Central outfit Kempston Rovers in early January 2022.

He was previously with Chalfont St Peter, Bracknell Town and Wealdstone and moved on to the Walnut Boys` league rivals Thame United in June 2022.

Nunn has also snapped up Gambian under-20 international Momodou Jallow.

The 19-year-old moves to Hayden Road from Kempston Rovers, having recently been signed by Nunn following his release from League One side MK Dons.

Jallow progressed through Dons` academy to earn a first-team squad number towards the end of the 2020/21 season.

Whilst on Dons’ books he spent a month on loan with Southern Premier Division South side Hendon and before that, with Isthmian League South Central Division outfit Chalfont St Peter, for whom he made 5 appearances.

In December 2021, he spent time with Diamonds` league rivals Redditch United on loan.

In 2021, the 6’ 1” Jallow was part of the Gambia under-20 squad that reached the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations in Mauritania.

Diamonds have also signed 20-year-old George Joyce from league rivals Hitchin Town.

The midfielder, who can also play at right back, signed for the Canaries in November 2022 following a short spell with Southern Division One Central outfit Aylesbury United.

He had family connections to the Ducks in that his uncle Tony was Aylesbury’s manager from October 2009 until October 2015.

Joyce junior came through Vanarama National League side Boreham Wood’s academy and also had some Southern League experience whilst on loan to Kempston Rovers when his uncle was in charge at Hillgrounds during 2020/21.

Meanwhile, returning to the club is versatile John Dean.

The 28-year-old originally joined Diamonds on dual-registration terms with Desborough Town of the United Counties League in October 2017.

After focussing on the cup exploits of Ar Tarn he became a regular member of the Diamonds squad early in 2018 before re-joining home-town club Corby Town in July 2019.

Previously with S&L Corby, he switched to Northern Premier Division One South East outfit Wisbech Town just before Christmas 2019 and then to Southern Premier Central side St Ives Town in February 2020 but returned to Wisbech in the summer of 2020.

He suffered an injury that kept him out of action for an extended period of time and he has been regaining fitness with Northants Combination side Corby Strip Mills this season.
