The Pitmen face a heavy game schedule in the next few weeks and have signed Tyreace Brown and Corey Currithers from Midland League Premier Division neighbours Walsall Wood.
Brown is a 6`4” centre-back who had joined Wood in February 2022 from the Pitmen’s league rivals for Alvechurch.
He had only arrived at Church in early January 2022 from league rivals Barwell.
He had been with the Canaries since September 2021 after being with Midland League side Romulus.
He had only signed for the Roms in the summer after being with Hellenic League Division One outfit Littleton.
Brown also gained experience of Midland League football with Lye Town and Bilston Town and also represented the Northampton Pro-Academy, who he skippered.
Currithers is an experienced midfielder.
His previous clubs include Highgate United, Chasetown, Stafford Rangers and Bromsgrove Sporting.
Also joining the ranks on dual registrations are Ethan Spencer and Owen Watkins.
Spencer is a dynamic midfielder currently playing with Heather St John’s.
The 20-year-old spent time at Aston Villa, Stoke City and Wolverhampton Wanderers academies as a youngster and has also been with Romulus.
Watkins is a forward with Romulus, who impressed as the club’s top goalscorer last season at just 17 years of age and has clubs higher up the leagues trailing him.
