Ives Borrow Pair of Posh Boys

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club St Ives Town have signed two players from League One side Peterborough United on loan until the end of the season.

Joining are Ashton Fox and Luke Harris.

Fox is a 19-year-old centre-back who has previously featured for England Schoolboys and Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Dereham Town.

Meanwhile, Harris is a 20-year-old central midfielder who is a product of the Posh academy and was awarded a two-year professional contract in 2021.

Heading back to London Road is Kellan Hickinson.

Hickinson has been on loan at the Quattro-Tech Westwood Road for the last couple of months.

St Ives manager Ricky Marheineke told his club’s website: “We are keen to improve our squad for the remaining weeks of the season and we are delighted to welcome both Ashton and Luke to the club. They will provide more competition for places and we are really grateful to Peterborough United for the loan of both players to St Ives Town”.
