Metropolitan Police Receive January Club of the Month Award

The former long-serving Chairman of the Pitching In Southern Football League, Terry Barratt, presented Metropolitan Police’s Chairman Des Flanders with their award as the PST Sport Club of the Month award for January for the Premier Division South before their win against Swindon Supermarine on Tuesday night.

Metropolitan Police were first-time winners of the award after recording a 100% record in the Premier Division South in January.

Gavin Macpherson’s men did, however, have the luxury of playing all of their January fixtures at Imber Court!

A January 2nd win over Hendon was followed by successes against Winchester City, Plymouth Parkway and Hanwell Town.
