Cairo For Exmouth

Attacking midfielder Alex Cairo has joined Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Exmouth Town from Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Saltash United on dual registration.

He joined Saltash in August 2021 from South West Peninsula League Premier Division outfit Bodmin Town.

The 23-year-old has previous Western League experience as part of the Tavistock AFC side who finished second in the league in the curtailed 2020/21 season, playing 9 of the 11 games and scoring one goal.

He also made 28 appearances for Tavi in their very successful inaugural season in the league of 2019/20 and has won the South West Peninsula League title with the Lambs in the previous season.

Previously with Ivybridge Town and Mousehole, he also has experience playing at a high level in Sweden and featured for both Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City at youth level.
