The forward has registered 42 appearances for the club since joining from Yate Town last summer.
In a campaign that saw the Martyrs finish ninth in the table and reach the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup for the first time since 2005, Rees scored 19 times in the league this season - 21 times in all competitions - whilst adding 15 assists and contributing to an incredible 35 goals for the Martyrs throughout the campaign.
Commenting on the new deal, manager Paul Michael told his club’s website: “I’m obviously delighted that Ricardo has agreed to be here next season.
“Ric has had a class season, he’s started every single game which is testament to his character in playing through niggles and the conditioning work he does on his own to prevent injury. He’s become a talisman as he makes goals, scores goals and leads the press from the front.
“He’s still a very young man getting better and better. I expect him to score and create even more goals next season and look forward to working with him again”.
