Now Top Scorer Commits to Hendon

Leading scorer Joe White has followed his manager Lee Allinson in committing his immediate future to Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Hendon.

White, who is also club captain, has put pen-to-paper on a new deal that keeps him at the club for another year.

The 24-year-old has shown real maturity this season to become a leader on the pitch.

White signed for the Greens in January 2020 from League Two side Stevenage for an undisclosed fee.

He joined Boro before the January 2018 transfer window came to its end from Vanarama National League side Dagenham & Redbridge, also for an undisclosed fee.

To advance his development, he went to Biggleswade Town on loan in late 2018 and made an instant impact there, banging in goals for fun for then-manager Lee Allinson.

He came through the Daggers’ ranks, turning professional in December 2016, having made his first team debut for the East London side a month earlier.

He spent time on loan at Wealdstone in February 2017 and after returning to the Daggers at the end of the 2016/17 campaign, he was in the mix at the start of the 2017/18 season, featuring three times.

Another loan spell was forthcoming, however; this time at Hendon, then in the Isthmian League Premier Division, where he scored 6 times in 6 appearances before being recalled, completing the move to Stevenage.
