Two More Commit to Tavistock

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Tavistock AFC have announced that two more of last season’s squad have agreed to remain with the Lambs for 2023/24.

Goalkeeper Josh Oak is a fans` favourite and one of the best stoppers in the league, and has huge respect from everyone at the club on and off the pitch.

The 32-year-old experienced keeper helped Tavistock to win the Western League title and promotion to the Southern League in 2021/22.

He had signed for the Lambs in 2020 having previously been with Plymstock, Plymouth Parkway, Liverton United and Ivybridge.

Midfielder Tallan Burns has also put pen-to-paper to remain at Langsford Park.

The 24-year-old is a consistent performer on the pitch for the Lambs and also does a lot of valuable work for the club of the pitch too.

He came through the club’s own ranks and became a first team regular in 2017/18 and played a major part in the Lambs promotion from the Western League in 2021/22.
