The Northern Premier League Division One East play-off winners have brought in former Republic of Ireland under-19 international Cieron Keane.
The 26-year-old Nottingham born defender joins Long Eaton from Northern Premier League Premier Division side Gainsborough Trinity.
He had moved to Trinity in May 2021 from league rivals Stafford Rangers where he had been since August 2020, having re-signed for another NPL Premier rival, Basford United in November 2019 from then-National League North club Leamington.
He had joined the Brakes in June 2019 having ended the 2018/19 season with Basford as he worked his way back to full fitness following an injury hit campaign that began at Boston United.
Beginning his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, he signed for Notts County prior to the beginning of the 2014/15 season and quickly made his League debut against Colchester United.
After County were relegated at the end of that season he was released and got his first taste of National League North football at Nuneaton Town the following season, moving on to Midland League outfit Worcester City for 2016/17.
A brief move to Kidderminster Harriers preceded a switch to Alfreton Town and then to Basford initially in September 2018.
He has been capped 10 times by the Republic of Ireland at under-19 level.
