Medway won the hearts of many Gosport fans at the end of last season, with his 100% commitment to every tackle as Boro sought to protect its Premier Division status.
The 27-year-old, who is equally at home at left back or centre-back, re-joined Gosport in November 2022 from then-Southern Division One South side AFC Totton.
He had been with the Stags since May 2020 after arriving from Blackfield & Langley.
He had joined the Watersiders from Gosport in July 2019.
He had been on the books at Portsmouth since 2004.
Having made it as far as being a second-year scholar, he was released at the end of the 2013/14 season and joined Havant & Waterlooville.
He was loaned to Bognor Regis Town and Staines Town and made a permanent place for himself with the Hawks in 2015/16 - playing 31 league and 9 cup games in all.
Moves to Petersfield Town and AFC Totton followed before he originally signed for Gosport in 2017.
