Parkway Make Second Summer Signing

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Plymouth Parkway have made their second summer signing.

Joining Tom Purrington, who joined from Tiverton Town, is goalkeeper Cory Harvey, who makes a welcome return to Bolitho Park.

The 24-year-old Plymouth PT enjoyed a previous spell at Parkway under then-boss Kevin Hendy and now returns to the club and teams up with manager Lee Hobbs for the first time.

Harvey, a popular figure among the non-League scene, is all set to showcase his talents to the Plymouth public after appearing as former league rivals Truro City’s number two in the second half of last season’s campaign.

He joined the White Tigers in February 2023, re-uniting with older brother Tyler.

During last season’s campaign, both Adam Parkes and Harry Lee had successful spells with the club but were later called back by their parent clubs.

This resulted in a goalkeeping predicament for Hobbs towards the end of the season that need to be solved.

Starting his career with Plymouth Argyle, Harvey subsequently played a pivotal role under Jake Ash at Mousehole as the Cornish side were crowned South West Peninsula League champions.

Harvey originally signed for the Truro back in 2018/19 where he made 6 appearances.

He went on to play for two other Cornish sides in Bodmin Ton and Helston Athletic.
