New Trio Head to Bolitho Park

Plymouth Parkway have announced the arrival of three more new players to the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club.

Henry Wilson

Talented midfielder Henry Wilson has joined from Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Saltash United.

Wilson joined the Cornish outfit seven years ago and has become one of the most talked about midfielders across the region.

His calmness and intelligence on the pitch will no doubt catch the eye of the Parkway faithful.

A step up in divisions will not phase the midfielder, who has expressed his desire to succeed at this level and make Bolitho Park his home for years to come.

His name was one of the first on manager Lee Hobbs’ agenda following the departure of some high-profile names earlier in the month.

Playmaking midfielder Alfie Moulden has also put pen-to-paper and will be showcasing his talents at Bolitho Park for next season.

Hobbs has been aware of the midfielder for several years and has now finally captured his signature.

Originally from Yorkshire, the 21-year-old signed for Northern Premier League Premier Division side Guiseley AFC in February 2023 from then-Southern Premier Division South side Weston-super-Mare.

He had joined the Seagulls in late October 2021 for an undisclosed fee from Southern Division One South side Willand Rovers, where he has had several spells, this one being from the summer of 2020 after being with from Ilfracombe Town.

He had joined Bideford AFC in late August 2019 from league rivals Barnstaple Town and was originally with League Two side Bradford City`s academy, North Devon Leaguers Boca Seniors and Exeter City, where he played for the under-18s.

The third arrival is defender Joe Belsten following his departure from league rivals Tiverton Town.

The 22-year-old had moved to the Yellows in August 2021 from Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Buckland Athletic.

The right back joined Buckland in the summer of 2019 after being released by League One side Exeter City, having featured in the Grecians under-18 side.
